Privacy Policy

Who is responsible
The person responsible for the personal data collected on this site is Joaquin Lumelsky, owner of lumel.dev, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. For any privacy question, write to us at info@lumel.dev.
What data we collect
Our contact forms ask for your name and email and, depending on the form, your phone number, company, the service you are interested in and your message. We do not ask for sensitive data.
When you browse, our servers receive the technical data any browser sends: IP address, browser type, preferred language and the requested page.
How we use it
We use form data only to answer your inquiry, prepare a proposal if you ask for one and follow up on the conversation. We do not sell or share it with third parties, and we will not add you to mailing lists without your consent.
We use browsing data, in aggregate, to understand how the site is used and to improve it.
Filling in a form is voluntary. If you prefer not to, you can reach us by email or WhatsApp.
Who we share it with
We use providers that process data on our behalf and only to deliver their service to us:
Make, an automation service that receives form submissions and forwards them to us by email.
Cloudflare, which protects the forms with Turnstile.
Google, which measures site usage with Google Analytics (see the cookie policy below).
These providers process data on servers located outside Argentina, mainly in the United States and the European Union, under contractual confidentiality and security safeguards.
If you message us on WhatsApp or book a call on TidyCal, those services also apply their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as the business conversation lasts and, if we work together, for the duration of the relationship and as long as legal obligations require. You can ask us to delete them earlier at any time.
Cookie policy
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser to recognize it on later visits. This site uses three:
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | First-party, necessary | Remember the chosen language | 1 year |
| _ga | Third-party, analytics | Random identifier to measure site usage | 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Third-party, analytics | Keep the state of the current visit | 2 years |
NEXT_LOCALE is a first-party cookie that remembers the language you chose, so you do not have to pick it again. It is needed for that purpose and is not used to measure anything.
The Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_<ID>) record the pages you visit and some interactions with the site, such as submitting a form (without its content). They do not identify you by name or email: they tie those actions to a random identifier. Google uses your IP address to estimate your approximate location (country or city) and does not store it. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the site does not set these cookies: Google only receives a visit notice without any identifier.
Besides cookies, the site stores in your browser's local storage (localStorage) the light or dark theme you chose.
Cloudflare Turnstile tells people from bots on the forms without using tracking cookies.
You can review, block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Blocking the Google Analytics cookies does not affect how the site works; blocking NEXT_LOCALE only means the site will detect your language again on each visit.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification or deletion of your data by writing to info@lumel.dev. We will reply through the same channel. Access is free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, under section 14 of Argentine Law 25,326.
The Agency for Access to Public Information (Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública), as the supervisory authority under Law 25,326, is empowered to handle complaints regarding breaches of personal data protection rules.
Changes to this policy
If the way we handle data changes, we update this page and its last updated date.
